I really like Christmas, if you haven't already heard. This Christmas was a lot of fun, despite the fact that my brother and his Internet Girlfriend™ were in another state. We woke up at 6:30 in the morning on Christmas day and left our apartment at around 7:30. My sister and her husband were already at mom's house, and we were just waiting on our stepbrother to get there. Mom made us pancakes and bacon, and then we opened presents; we usually do it the other way around.

Both Sandy and I got some really good presents, but I think I will have to narrow my favorites down to just 3. So, here we go with the...

TOP THREE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

• 1 - Handmade Camera Case

I mean, how awesomely cute is this camera case? My camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-T9, needed a slim case that I can carry in my pocket. All I ever found were large and bulky, and not cute at all. I complained about this and Sandy handmade this little felt case for me. I love stuff like this because it is original, handmade, functional and something I've really needed for awhile now.

• 2 - Bladerunner Ultimate Collector's Edition

I have been waiting for years for this to be released. Bladerunner was the first DVD I owned, and it's also my favorite movie, so of course I dropped plenty of hints that I wanted this set. You can read about it on the Amazon website - this is the one I expected as my "big present". I was in for a surprise.

• 3 - Vehicle Voltron

It's pretty difficult to surprise me at Christmas, but this did it. I never had a Voltron robot as a kid, and I always wanted one. For those of you that are not familiar, there are Vehicle Voltron and Lion Voltron. I always wanted Lion Voltron, but there was really no reason for this preference, since I like both of them equally. The Lion Voltron just seemed a bit more practical, since there are only 5 lion robots that comprise him (there are 15 vehicles that form Vehicle Voltron!). Anyway, I freaked out when I unwrapped it. I had no idea. His fists shoot off! The place Sandy bought it from was the Toy Stable, the subject of my first blog post a couple of months back. The proprietor said they sold Lion Voltron a week prior, and she was sad to see this one go. Through a carefully executed series of maneuvers, Sandy and my parents managed to get me a present I've wanted since I was five years old.
